HISTORY:
Yelm Family Medicine was established in 1979 by Dr. William Elledge under the name Nisqually Clinic. It’s original location was in the Nisqually Plaza complex. The practice continued to grow with Yelm, and the business moved into the Cullens Road building in 1985 along with the addition of Dr. William Penn.
Over the next 25 years, Yelm Family Medicine served the growing town of Yelm and surrounding communities with the addition of new medical providers and expanding services including laboratory and radiology availability.
In 2009, Yelm Family Medicine providers partnered with Providence St. Peter Hospital and RDS Developers LLC to plan and build a new medical office building, Yelm Medical Plaza, that would allow for further expansion of the business and bring more medical services to Yelm. Yelm Family Medicine will open at Yelm Medical Plaza April 18, 2011. We share the building with Providence St. Peter Imaging Services, PacLab, Apple Physical Therapy, Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates, and Providence Specialty clinics. |
